Running Accomplishments:

PRed in Malibu Nov. 2009 with a 4:00:25, I think.  Shy of sub-4 hours and shy of BQ 3:45.

Other marathon times:

May 2009: Orange County (4:21) and LA (4:15)

Feb. 2010: Surf City (4:09)

Took a couple years off from running in 2013-2014. Haven't done any marathons since 2011 though I started doing half marathons again in 2017.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Still want to qualify for Boston (3:55).

Want to qualify for the NYC Marathon by running a 1:42 half marathon.

Long Beach Half Marathon Oct. 8

Surf City Marathon Feb. 2018--I'm training to try to BQ.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to keep running marathons into my 70s.

Had planned to swim today instead of running, but it was raining and the pool was closed.  Did 3 miles in 29 minutes.

Hey I started P90X.  Giving myself some time off from serious running.  But instead of the plyometrics of P90X, I'm going to get in some runs.  Did these two miles on the treadmill after doing a killer upperbody workout.

This 4+ miles felt great.  I'm going to slowly start building my mileage again.  Gotta get in more runs during the week, so P90X will have to take a back burner now.  But man, my arms look great thanks to P90X.
